An Appeal to all our DR Friends,
We have come to the most decisive phase in our battle for PPP – pay, promotion and pension. These issues cover the entire life-cycle of our time spent in the organization and beyond. The Circle body of KTK is truly grateful for the support received from all parts of Karnataka on the first and second day of our day-long fast for our rights.
Friends, we are entering the final day of battle, we know that none of you can sit back in office while others fast for your rights. Please come out and express your resentment to the management. Please register your angst. Hunger strikes are being conducted at HQs and major centers such as NOC. There should be no excuse left for your lack of awareness or your non-participation in the ongoing agitation programme.
Tidbits on the programme so far
In keeping with our CHQ call for agitation and as per the notice served by the United Forum, the Karnataka chapter of AIGETOA decided to give 100% support to the 3-day Hunger Strike on the 27th, 28th and 29th of September. The members were fully charged up that since all 3 demands related to DRs, we need to support whole-heartedly on all three days. All Districts were posted this information and they gladly responded with arrangements for the Hunger Strike at the SSA HQs. In Bengaluru, Circle Office was the designated location. On popular demand of our members, the Hunger Strike was also conducted by the newly upgraded District body of BG East Telephone Exchange. Seeing the enthusiasm of our members, the 3 Circle Secretaries moved from Circle Office to BG East to motivate the DRs gathered there. It was indeed a historic moment when members of all associations were seen sloganeering together.
