AIGETOA KTK is calling for dynamic leaders from among its paid members to register their nominations for the following posts of AIGETOA KTK.

We encourage our leaders and members with passion and dedication to come forward to carry forward the legacy of AIGETOA in Karnataka. We have come a long way and are today the Recognised Representative Association of BSNL. You can drive the issues and policy changes in our beloved organisation for the benefit of members and BSNL Executives at large. Last date for filing of nominations:- 3^rd September 2021

CS Shri. Chandran and ACS Shri. Sourabh met with Hon’ble CGM on 27^th August. Discussions were held with him on the upcoming Circle Conference. We also apprised CGM on the amendments to the Transfer Policy. CGM mentioned that he is all for helping deserving staff but the load of outgoing staff will fall on the remaining working staff. He updated that our proposal to consider KTK Circle itself as a soft Tenure due to the acute staff shortage has been forwarded to BSNL CO from Circle Office. We thanked him for his support and discussed some individual cases.

We are trying our best to balance our members’ needs with the operational requirements in the best interest of BSNL. We request the co-operation of all.

A meeting of AIGETOA Madikeri was held on the evening of 26^th August in online mode. About 10 members from Kodagu SSA participated. The meeting was convened by our outgoing DS Smt. Lata Jain. She is transferred back to Bangalore BA and it was time to hand-over her charge to the new team there. Our senior leader and CEC member from Madikeri Shri. Manjunath BG is also back in Bangalore. With this backdrop, the outgoing DS presented a report on the functioning of the District body over the past year. She mentioned the difficulties faced due to the terrain due to which all Executives are always on their toes there. In spite of this, she was able to galvanise the staff there and she was personally holding the charge of AGM(Operations) at the O/o TDM. She thanked all the Executives and Members for their love and support extended over her term of 2 years. Our CS Shri. Chandran thanked Smt. Lata for leading from the front and ensuring a thumping majority to AIGETOA Madikeri in the last MV. It may be recalled that forming a body in this SSA was unthinkable even a few years ago. Most of the staff are looking for transfer back to their hometowns and the few localites are entrenched in the senior Associations. However, some members have stood their ground including our CFS Shri. Sivakumar Boppe. Their firmness then – sowed the seeds of AIGETOA which is now in full bloom. Our CS then briefed on the issues at CHQ/Circle and SSA level. Some members expressed their concerns on the transfer policy followed at the Circle level. Our ACS HQ Shri. Sourabh explained the background and the work done by AIGETOA to get Kodagu SSA declared as a Tenure station within KTK. Rotation of staff to such stations is always a challenge for both Management and Association. CS assured that AIGETOA stands for transparency in transfers as can be seen in the OTP available for SDE level which minimizes the hops involved. Efforts are on for a similar system at the Circle level for JTO/SDE cadre. After all queries of members were satisfactorily addressed, we proceeded to reform the body. All participated with enthusiasm and the following body was elected unanimously.

We wish all the success to the new body to take AIGETOA Madikeri forward! We are grateful for the participation of our CHQ representatives OS(S) Shri Ajay Kumar and Spokesperson Shri. Prashant Gaurav for their boost. The meeting closed with our CP Shri Ashok Shigli assuring the support of our Circle body to the newly formed team and all members of AIGETOA Madikeri.
