Just to remind…..what are our basic rights? what are we  deprived of? What are we loosing?…….

  We deprived of 

Eye Opener : Detail analysis of issues. Why did AIGETOA had done Strike/Dharana  Why the management did not take any action until now.What are achievements After AIGETOA Dharna how management and others wake up.

Motivation for performing the so called dharana has come into the minds of other association only after witnessing our Historic struggle in Jantar Mantar, that to thrice (2008, 2013 and 2014). Who is doing drama in the name of association has unearthed with the recent drama in the name of mere transfer-posting, thereby causing an irreversible loss to BSNL. We are not mere an association just for transfer and postings!  We are association of truth and transparency. We are the only association who is concerned for the future of DR executive, and with our recent endeavor to support AIBSNLEA in referendum has proved that we are even bothered for other executives. It seems that witnessing the togetherness of experience with enthusiasm and adolescence has kept others stranded, and now they have nothing left to show. In times to come it will be certified that who is the one! Really worried for Executives of BSNL and in turn BSNL and Who has just crocodile tears!

Pointing out fingers on others is not the work of AIGETOA Karnataka, we are much dedicated to work for DRs and in turn working for betterment of BSNL.

We must understand truth. GS Writen a letter to CMD agenda points.

Just to remind…..what are our basic rights? what are we  deprived of? What are loosing?…….

 Standard Pay Scale:

Basic Right : We are induced in BSNL in the name of GE JTOs as per Enginnering Trainees induced in the PSUs in 2001. As per DPE( who is authority to decide pay scales of executives in PSUs) direct engineering trainees in Shedule A PSUs should be induced at E2/E3. Remember we are executives and our salary should be decided by DPE and not by the Management of BSNL. Management has to follow the guidelines of DPE.

 We deprived of : But for the sake of ensuring pension to absorbed non engineering peoples, pay scale of JTOs is fixed at intermediate pay scale of E1A in negotiation with so called strong associations at the time of formation of BSNL  though BSNL was earning thousands of crore profit at that time. Might be being new to PSUs or lack of knowledge of ruling, the leaders of these associations signed MOU with management. So we deprived of status of an engineering trainee and salary we deserved for the sake of ensuring others pensions. So we have to think because of whom  our basic rights are un resloved till date .

 We  are loosing:

All absorbed  DOT JTOs : No loss

2001 & 2002 batch : Nearly bearing loss of more than 15 lakhs since 2002.

2005 batch : Loss of nearly 10 Lakhs

2007 & 2008 batch : These batch bearing negative salary getting only 5 increments to compensate which is far less than they deserve. Loss of 1-2 lakhs per year.

2011 SRD batch : fixed in E1 scale and even not getting 5 increments as compensation. What can say about loss?

 “If we got standard pay scales earlier, might be most of we are free of our various loans like home loans and can save much money for future and may free of  various EMI”

 30 % Superannuation benefit :

Basic Right : 30 % superannuation is recommendation of 2nd pay revision committee. This point is induced to ensure the good future of employees of PSUs who are not covered by any type of Govt. pension.

Presently we are getting 18%(12 % EPF+4.5 % Gratuity+1.5 % Medical).

We are deprived of : 12% of Superannuation we are deprived of. So in turn we deprived of our future.

We are loosing :

All Absorbed DOT JTOs : No loss. Covered under CCS pension rule 37A. BSNL is paying  contribution on maximum of basic+DA( 70K to more than 1 lakh per year)

2001 & 2002 Batch : 6 to 7 thousand per month i.e. 60 to 80 thousand per year i.e. 4.2 to 5.6 lakhs since 2007

2005 batch : 4 to 5 thosand per month i.e. 50 to 80 thousand per year i.e. 3.5 to 5.6 lakhs since Year  2007

2007& 2008 : 2.5 to 4 thousand per month i.e. 25 to 50 thousand per year i.e. 1.25 lakhs to 2.5 lakhs since year 2008.

“ So if we  study present pension plans providing various insurance companies in market today we will get minimum of 1.5 to 2.5 lakhs pension per month after 25 years “ The delay in decision can reduce the pension.

CPSU Cadre Hierarchy:

Basic Right : Every PSU has follow its own time bound promotion policy. Employees got functional time bound promotions after fixed interval. BSNL is giving

1st time bound promotion after 4-6 Years

2nd time bound promotion after 5 years

3rd and subsequent after 4 years

You deprived of :

Every executive deprived of Time Bound Promotion. They are just getting time bound up gradation in higher pay scale .

We are loosing :

All DOT Absorbed JTOs : loosing only functional time bound promotion. Majority of  executives have got TBP in 4 year However batches of 1993 onwards have got TBP in 5 to 6 year as per the norms of touching lowest of  upgraded scale.(No benefit of previous service in DOT extended)

2001 batch : getting first financial up gradation in 5 to 6 years , thereby loss of 1-2 lakhs . Also not get eligible for DGM recruitment as not touched E4 scale.

2002 & onward batch :getting first up gradation in 4 years but will not eligible for DGM recruitment up to 14-15 years.

So Dear friends, from above analysis do you think you are getting your basic rights as defined by DPE for PSU executives. When nearly 2.25 lakhs of employees are getting everything why only 25 thousand BSNL recruit employees are kept away from their basic rights in the name of financial loss. Still BSNL is schedule A PSU and it can afford all our legitimate right. Is management playing with our career and future because we are in lesser numbers and can not raise voice?

 Dear friends, though we are less in numbers, we are playing key role in keeping BSNL in competition in Market. If we decide we can do anything. The need is to understand our strength and get united. As the time passing our career prospects and our future benefits are shading away. We can not wait now. Don’t keep your issues on platforms who are responsible for all these situations because loss of vision and capabilities. We are not peoples who will celebrate by gaining minute benefits like soaps and towels. We want our basic rights. If we get united no one can stop us.
