United forum of AIGETOA and AIBSNLEA had meeting with Shri.P Nagaraju, cgmt Karnataka circle on 21.09.2016

we thanked him for forwarding the request transfer applications  Karnataka circle to BBNW circle and for considering other genuine transfer cases and also discussed the following points:

1) Posting of GMs: Since  there no ssa heads in many SSAs work is hampered in telecom district so united forum requested to post GMs to different SSAs.

2) Rule-08: since 11 LICE passed  JEs are joining karnataka circle as JTOs, united forum requested to consider 11 Rule08 cases from Karnatka circle.

3) Shortage of materials in Bangalore for providing New connections and maintenace like Dropwire, Low count cable etc was discussed

4)Reveling of executives transferred to different SSA in karnataka circle.

Circle secretaries of United forum consists of Shri. Hiremat,Shri.Nagavi and Shri.Sundar Raju had meeting at CTO Building at 5.00PM on 03.09.2016 and Discussed the plan of action.It is decided to conduct day long Dharna on 6th and 7th of this month at Circle/SSAs as per the CHQ call. Hence all are requested to put two days Leave(CL/EL/Medical or any) and participate in full strength.

Agenda points for the Dharna is:

• Standard pay scales of E2 and E3 for JTO, SDE and equivalent cadres

• 30% superannuation benefit for BSNL Recruited Employees

• Implementation of CPSU Cadre Hierarchy and first TBP 

All District secretaries ensure 100% participation at SSAs

In keeping with the United Forum’s agitation programme called for at CHQ level, the Karnataka United Forum of BSNL executives organised a massive Lunch Hour Demonstration at the Karnataka Circle Office, Bangalore.

It was heartening to see the leaders of all three major executive associations – AIBSNLEA, SNEA and AIGETOA come together and motivate all executives irrespective of their affiliation. About 200 executives from all over Bangalore enthusiastically participated by their vocal sloganeering. The fact that they were standing for more than an hour patiently listening to the leaders updating on the issues and need for further agitations to meet our legitimate demands shows their seriousness.

Shri. Chandran, ACS AIGETOA KTK, appraised the gathering of the 3 issues for which the United Forum as called for the agitation. At the outset he thanked our sister associations, AIBSNLEA and SNEA for their whole-hearted support to AIGETOA in having this joint struggle. He mentioned that in the last struggle, as the efforts were fragmented, the results have also been fragmented. He

Shri. Nagavi, CS SNEA KTK, spoke at length on the issues faced by executives have been kept pending by the management citing one reason on the other. He spoke of the past struggles and mentioned that youngsters in BSNL should realise that it is only through struggles that issues are resolved.

Shri. Hiremath, CS, AIBSNLEA KTK mentioned that the demands are kept to the bare minimum and the management can no longer resort to dividing the executives and keep the issues pending. He motivated the gathering with his energetic sloganeering.

Shri Sundar Raju, CS AIGETOA KTK, thanked the leaders and members of our sister associations for their support. He appraised the gathering of the upcoming agitation programmes.

Reports have come in from all SSA HQs that LHD of the United Forum was conducted across all SSAs of Karnataka.

Special mention is to be made of the demonstration conducted by the newly upgraded BG East District body

UF(AIGETOA AIBSNLEA SNEA) Served Agigationa Notice.

Congratulations! In the case filed by AIGETOA at Hon’ble CAT Chandigarh, The court has pronounced Final Judgment and has directed DoT to issue presidential orders for replacement of Pay Scales of E1A and E2A with Standard Pay Scales within two months and payment of arrears w.e.f. 01.01.2007 within three months.

Since Board has already approved standard pay scales of E2 and E3 and has sent the proposal to DoT for issuance of Presidential Orders, now BSNL is not in a position to challenge these orders Hon’ble CAT Chandigarh and DoT does not have any other option then to approve E2 and E3 in place of E1A and E2A. Therefore extension of E2 and E3 is almost a certainty now.

Friends strategy of AIGETOA to follow a multidimensional approach where one side we were pursuing at Court to get justice and on the other side pursuing BSNL Board to send the final proposal to DoT for replacement of scales have worked, now it becomes our responsibility to get this order implemented at the earliest.

AIGETOA extends its heartfelt thanks to Shri Surender Mahar for pursuing this case in a grand manner.

In view of the refusal of the pay scale proposal by DoT, the further course of action was discussed between AIBSNLEA, SNEA and AIGETOA. The three associations have decided to launch immediate and hard trade union actions. United Forum of BSNL Executive Associations comprising SNEA, AIBSNLEA and AIGETOA  served notice for organizational actions protesting against the inordinate delay in implementation of

i) standard pay scales of E2 and E3 for JTO, SDE and equivalent cadres

ii) 30% superannuation benefit for BSNL Recruited Employees

iii) implementation of CPSU Cadre Hierarchy and first TBP

Dear Friends!!

As you all are aware that the recommendations sent by BSNL Board to DoT for 3% Superannuation Benefits (SAB) to BSNL Directly Recruited Employees are facing stiff resistance in the corridors of the DoT on the pretext of poor financial conditions of BSNL.

As we all know that our shortage is about 12% in Superannuation Benefits in accordance with 2nd PRC Recommendations, but they are not ready for even 3%. This shows the tough fight ahead for all BSNL recruited employees to get their 30% SAB right.

So, let’s ask all BSNL Direct Recruit’s to join this movement through this petition to participate in this movement.

CS ,CP AIGETOA and CS,CP,CFS,VP, of AIBSNLEA Discussed pending issues of executives karnataka circle and  improvement of OFC team at SSA by supplying power meter/OTDR/Lown count cable/UY connectors.Seprate FTTH Team at Bangalore.

CS Sunadarju and CP Shigli  discussed the issues of DRs of karnataka circle.

1.Pending Rule 8 Cases of Karnataka circle. Sundaraju requested CGMT to consider all Rule 8 cases after 93 LICE passed JTO joined completion of training period and start the process early.

CGMT assured maximum cases will considered those who have compleeted 5 yers of service acording to waiting list.

2.Intera circle Transfer of JTOs. CGMT assured all the waiting list will be cleared this year.

CGM instructed  GM(Admin/HR) foreword application .

4. Tempuray deputation  JTO/SDE to different units.

CGMT called the GM Bellary and instructed solve issue .Reveling of JTO Srikanth Bellary to Raichur.

 6.Releving of JTO/SDE transferred by 30.07.2016.

7..CGMT seek co-operation of both assoacion/all outdoor staff to complete the inundation of MDF/Piller/DP details in CDR.

8.AIGETOA and AIBSNLEA Requested CGMT to consider the all the staff of Karnataka circle for sale of SIM/increase of revenue/improvement of services FTTH in all SSA.

Both association agreed to extend all support to management.
