AGENDA MEETING ON LONG PENDING HR ISSUES

1. Finalization of standard pay scale as per DPE Order i.e. E2 for JTO equivalent and E3 for SDE equivalent from 01-01-2007 as DPE has already rejected the proposal of BSNL for introducing intermediate pay scale of E1A and E2A.

2. Extending E2 pay scale to direct recruits JTO/JAO from Oct-2000 or pensionary benefits as ordered by GoI to avoid discrimination among absorbed and direct recruit’s executives.

3. Pay parity issue of executives recruited before and after 01.01.2007 as to comply the basic motto of pay revision to end the disparity having cumulative effects.

4. 30% Superannuation benefits including post retired medical benefits on defined contribution basis as recommended by DPE as BSNL fulfils all the conditions laid down by DPE.

5. Conduction of LDCE for SDE (T) as per the provision of RR and ordered by Honorable court of law to conduct LDCE every years.

6. Scrapping the MT RR and introducing time bound functional promotion with provision of fast track promotion to qualified and performing executives for succession plan of top management.

7. Consideration of transfer request under Rule-8 and Special recruitment in hard tenure circles so that transfer policy of the company can be implemented in true sense and without discrimination.

8. Declaration of result of DGM recruitment including internal candidates so that actual analysis of talent available within company can be established.

9. Wrong/Non-implementation of various order in field units issued by BSNL CO. (order related to maintaining EPF account, order related to grievance redressal, order related to invoking no work no pay etc.)

10. Separate recognition and formal platform to the association of direct recruits recruited after inception of BSNL as their service benefits are different than absorbed executives hence form distinct category of executives.

11. Last but not least, victimization of top leadership of this association by misusing the authority against the provision of the policy and rules.

This association has already submitted detail letter with justification and documents at various platform now it require interactive discussion. Most of the issues stated above are not our demands but our legitimate dues and remain long pending due to policy decision and lack of concern of the
authority. We are very much confident that we will be able to reach to amicable resolution under your

kind leadership hence anticipating your appointment at the earliest.

At CHQ site LAST DATE FOR FILLING MEMBERSHIP FORM IS EXTENDED UP TO 5TH AUG 2014 

Receiving overwhelming response and request from various part of the country, it has been decided to increase the deadline up to 5th Aug 2014 for filling hard copy and online membership form without membership fee. Left out members shall submit the same with only subscription of Rs 800/- but only till 5th Aug 2014 as we have to submit the same to the Registrar of Society before 9th Aug 2014. In no case this deadline will be changed.

It is also learnt that, some of our representatives where salary is deducted through ECS/Salary are filling the online form on behalf of members just to help them. It is to request them to please don’t adopt such practice as our basic motto is not only collection of money but also want to involve every individual in the process and attract their commitment along with subscription hence request members to fill the form by their own and spare some time on daily basis to go through the every update of websites of all the association and unions of BSNL.

CGMT Karnataka circle office has issued intra-circle order pertaining to JTOs request transfer after persistent persuasion from AIGETOA KTK.

The issuing of this order is the culmination of many days of following up with the authorities in the HRD section at our CGMT office. We express our heartfelt thanks to all senior officials who considered the request of us DRs favourably.

This is just a milestone in our path of achieving Rule-8 transfers. We will continue our persuasion for the betterment of all DRs in KTK Circle.

AIGETOA Bangalore SSA DS Shri Chandran, DP Smt Lata Jain and CP Shri. Ashok Shigli, ACS Shri. Prashant Gaurav met  PGM Shri K.L Jairam at CTO on 25th July 2014. We welcomed  Shri K.L. Jairam to Bangalore SSA on behalf of AIGETOA with a bouquet of flowers.

PGM appreciated the  efforts of Direct Recruited executives in BSNL and urged all to concentrate on improving the customer base by providing good service to our esteemed customers. He showed much interest in improving the network and enquired about the monitoring of the transmission systems of BGTD.

PGM further mentioned that we should be recognised for our utility value and not nuisance value. DS Chandran assured full support from DRs to PGM. As PGM was tied up, we will be taking up technical problems and member issues in detail in the next meeting.

AIGETOA KTK CS Sundaraju had meeting with DGM(Admin/HR) regarding request transfer of JTOs.

CS thanked circle administration for publishing  JTO Request transfer list  at intranet.

Long pending issue raised by AIGETOA for transparency , Every JTOs know their status of request. 

CS Explained DGM(STAFF) to  consider request transfer JTO on  medical/spouse cases on humanity ground/hard tenure places worked JTOs on priority(Bidar,Madakeri)/more than 4 years at same place/unit/SSA.

We want Uniform transfer and posting  JTOs required at all SSA to meet shortage and equal opportunists to every one learn and explore different fields.

To face the referendum jointly and settlement of the common issues, AIBSNLEA & AIGETOA signed Joint Declaration . As per the decision of CHQ a Joint co-ordination committe is to be formed at District, SSA and Circle Level , all members are requested to get in touch with thier DS to have a meeting with DS of AIBSNLEA.

AIGETOA CS,CP,CWC Members had meeting with CS AIBSNLEA and discussed the issues DRs of Karnataka circle.

CS AIBSNLEA assured all kind of support to AIGETOA  to resolve issues of DRs at all levels.

4.All DRs decided to same district body will continue and strengthen AIGETOA with additional of organizing secretory of Mysore SSA.
