MEETING WITH CMD BSNL

CMD BSNL Called President AIGETOA, GS AIBSNLEA and GS SNEA for a meeting. CMD Mentioned that in this financial year, BSNL has shown good performance vis-?-vis the last year and requested us to reconsider us that agitation program will adversely affect the growth of BSNL. He shown us the messages from field units wherein it was mentioned that all executives are sitting outside and work is badly suffering and BSNL is not in position to afford it for even 10 minutes. Hence intervene and control the situation. 

United forum explained that we have been demanding implementation of Khan Committee report in its true spirit and as assured by Director (HR), the recommendations be implemented first and the anomalies can be examined later on. We also requested that CPSU cadre hierarchy with scrapping of MT recruitment and DGM RRs with no lateral recruitment above JTO/JAO cadre, immediate holding of CPCs to fill up all group A and Group B vacant posts and settlement of other demands. 

However, we have been taken aback with the one more U turn by GS SNEA as he said now anomalies be examined first ( Perhaps for the first time anomalies which will happen in future should be examined before implementation) and then scales be replaced perhaps sensing the mood of CMD BSNL inclination towards our view. He further demanded MT recruitment be held immediately with one more absurd logic that exams cannot be scrapped once notified… 

We further informed CMD BSNL that his HR team is working overnight to derail all the issues and in fact the decisions conveyed at the level of CMD/Director (HR) is also not being obeyed and HR team acts just opposite what is decided at that level. Perhaps they may not be as concerned as CMD and Director (HR) for the reasons know to all of us?. 

CMD decided to hold the meeting with United Forum of AIBSNLEA and AIGETOA on Thursday, 19th May in presence of Director (HR). 

We requested CMD to give final settlement and administrative orders on the issues after the meeting as already lot of discussions have taken place.

BSNL BOARD APPROVED 3% SUPERANNUATION BENEFITS ON ITS MEETING HELD ON 5TH MAY 2016

As the issue has been lingering on since very long, it was very necessary to put the system in place. As discussed with management, the rate will be reviewed after doing actuarial valuation (not actual valuation as claimed by some) within short period. We sincerely believe that rate will be enhanced as committed by management to United Forum of AIBSNLEA & AIGETOA. 

Some forces were actively involved in to derail this ongoing process also by threatening and doing nothing. Still the better sense has prevailed and the board has taken decision to implement the Superannuation Benefit. But our job is yet not over. Some questions which we have put to management has yet not been answered like in which fund 13.8 percent as claimed by finance wing is going in. We have requested management to inform us regarding that fund and its name. We have requested them that please contribute 10 percent of that so called 13.8 percent in superannuation fund as right to live with dignity after retirement is more important. We have to take the fight further as the date of implementation is also to be revised.

To win your rightful due, you have to put your facts and figures with logic as mere lip sinking, making tall claims and boasting on the website do not resolve issue.. for resolution , you have to give your heart, soul and mind which we are doing and in coming days, time and results will prove it. we have to remain united to fight and defeat the purpose of the negative elements and credit mongers till our demands are met.

1. Rule 8 cases status of Karnataka circle: We requested to speedup the process sending all individaul files to respectives circle for Final school children Admition    to school difficult.

CGM Approved all the files sent for approval,

Only 8 cases are pending :Willingness letter,Cast verification,Bio data in format,Rule 8 new Format. Concent pending  Informed to all JTOs.

2.Intera circle Request transfer: We requested CGMT to consider more JTOs wiating for long time>

CGMT agreed to consider after checking working/Shorage.

AIGETOA Karnataka circle Executive meeting held on 08.05.2016 and Important decisions were taken on circle/SSA issues.

Circle body members and District Secretaries from all over Karnataka had attended the meeting.

The fallowing issues were discussed.

1. Rule 8 case status of Karnataka circle.

2. Intra circle cases within Karnataka circle.

3.SSA Level issues :Improvement of Mobile service/EB section/ LL/BB and Formation OFC Team at all SSA

4.AIGETOA Karnataka Circle conference  and Conduction of AIC at Mysore June 17,18,19th of this year.

5.Fund status of AIGETOA Karnataka circle: 

6.One Day Dharna at BSNL CO/Circle/SSA headquarters on 13th May 2016.

7.SSA Body formation/Re-organisation  should complete  Before First week of June.

8. Reveling of JTO/SDEs transferred to different SSAs

9.Shortage of staff at different SSA/Units and option for posting to Smooth working 

10.Formation of Core committee to discuss issues and suggestion to circle body within this month.

Total 11 cases are sent for PGM Aproval, 24 Cases are ready for approval one or two days, these are the cases where documents received are clear in all respect.
